Some interesting thoughts on regulation needed to "fix" the problems associated with social media. I don't agree with many of the recommendations but I think the author does a good job at identifying critical issue. Wonder what others may think on this? Ray Garcia
two general problems, all Ad models are exploitative by definition, and any company that has no effective competition it a monopoly and may need to be converted into a public utility and remove the profit from it and the systemic power. Both of these presume that the governance works and that people can trust in the laws and government. So big tech is just a symptom or a general economic problem of few winners and lots of losers.
