If Google sees your brand as important irregardless of business listing links and so forth then I think you'll rank better. If your brand is mentioned on many pages but not necessarily linked to then I'm tempted to say that would boost rankings. Also,  including exact keywords is no longer required as AI assesses the full HTML and reduces what it is about , keyword overstuffing is probably something to avoid now more than ever. I would google your brand name and see what results show, if you have at least 20 pages worth of brand mention then you're In a good place , unless those pages are negatively commenting which google probably sees too.
