Accomplished technical leader and polyglot software engineer/architect passionate about diversity and technology, best practices, clean code, UI and UX, STEM education, and making the world a better place with code. Mentored and encouraged women to pursue careers in software development as a former Director for Women Who Code DC. Volunteered as a mentor/teacher/speaker for organizations such as Girls Who Code, Rails Girls, DC Web Women, and FabFems. Awarded "Powerful Women Programmers/Engineers" in 2015, 2016, and 2017 by DCFemTech. Received the "Trending 40: The New Power Women of DC Tech" award in 2017 by DCA Live. Significant roles on projects for NASA JPL, Sesame Street, Conservation International, Microsoft, Capital One, Sports Illustrated Play, Discovery Communications, and many more as a consultant through InfernoRed Technology.
